1986
Founded by Chairman, Kevin McFarlane, to provide personnel and services for NDT and QC Inspection to engineering and construction initially within the nuclear and power generation sector in the UK and Europe
1993
Become a member of the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing
1994
Introduced our technical labour supply business, providing personnel for major projects, plant-life extension and maintenance programmes of energy facilities, primarily in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Norway
1998
Achieve ISO 9001 certification across all services
2007
Introduce site services division, supplying workers to categorised UK engineering and construction sites with focus in nuclear
2009
Became a full member of the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA) as an Employment Business
Introduced our in-house civil nuclear security clearance and Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) vetting teams to service and support the needs of clients across the UK civil nuclear sector
Signed a National Framework Agreement with a leading UK mechanical services tier 1 contractor for the supply of skilled tradesmen, supervision and technical engineers for their Nuclear Services business, including all current operating EDF UK stations
2010
Awarded our first nuclear new build contract via the EPC and main pipework installation contractors for the supply of technical staff and QC project management teams to Olkiluoto 3 EPR plant in Finland. Subsequently, awarded vendor inspection scope via EPC contractor for NDT and weld inspection cross-checking at supplier bases and fabricators in Europe for OLK3 material and equipment orders
2011
Achieve ISO 14001 and OHAS 18001 certification
2012
Established our Industrial Relations and Labour Management arm, offering clients consultancy, site support, union engagement, NAECI payroll compliance, manpower and resource planning for major events, including outsourced provision for projects
2016
Introduce our Temporary Site Facilities service line, focussing on the provision of offices, security, toilets and wash-rooms, equipment and material stores, handling teams and localised accommodation solutions for clients working on project sites in the UK
Awarded our first major contract for the installation of Temporary Site Facilities on the Tees Rep Biomass Power Plant on Teesside, the largest biomass plant currently being built in Europe.
2017
Received Major Contractor membership from the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA) being the only ECIA member with dual status of Major Contractor and Employment Business
Awarded our first contracts on Hinkley Point C, providing project management, supervisory, and in-scope blue-collar personnel for civil and mechanical contractors.
2018
Introduced our Total Workforce Solutions offering for Hinkley Point C, now providing project management, supervisory and in-scope blue-collar personnel for civil, mechanical and electrical contractors and complemented by Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) compliance and Hinkley Point C project specific security vetting, IR management, audited payroll and welfare services
2020
Signed a Framework Agreement with the principal contractor, EDF-NNB, for multiple service provision for Hinkley Point C

Became a member of the Sizewell C Consortium a day after the initial launch being the first Employment Business to be welcomed as a member

Opened our Lowestoft office as HQ for our UK nuclear operations and renewables businesses
